Messy Little Boy

I know kids loves to make a mess a lot especially boys. I would say that my son learned to be independent since he was just 6 months old. He learned how to drink in the cup in that age, he learned how to crawl and how to roll just by himself. When he turned a year old, he wanted to eat by himself and doesn't want to be fed by Mommy. He also doesn't like to be stuck in one place like the high chair.

He hated the high chair when he was a baby. I tried to put him in it to make him use to it but he just hated to be in one place. That's why he will do something just to get Mommy's attention so Mommy will get him out in his high chair. Look at him! He made a mess just for me to get him out! He spread his food all over his body! What a silly boy! And the last photo taken when he was eating his twinkies. Messy messy little boy!

Old Bald Headed Boy

My son sure is an entertainer to Daddy and Mommy. I was busy doing my entrecard dropping here in my lappy and suddenly he showed himself wearing his Grampa's big eyeglasses that was left here in the house. He was really having fun wearing it, but i told him not to wear it because his eyes might get bad like Mommy's. So he stopped doing it and went to our living room to play.

A little bit after he came back here in the computer room and was looking at me. He asked me why i am wearing my glasses. So i explained to him that Mommy's eyes is defective and his is not. So he agreed not to wear his Grampa's glasses nor Mommy's anymore. But he said "Can i try one more time Mommy?" Well, i guess it won't be so bad if i just let him borrow for a minute so i gave my glasses to him and took a picture of him. He always makes my day, he looks like an old bald headed boy on these photos that i just barely took.

A Clever Toddler

My son hang those letters on our clothes line. He thought he was so clever for hanging all those in there. He was pretending that the letters just got washed and they are wet. He is copying me every time i put our clothes there so it will dry instead of putting them into the dryer machine. I love doing it instead for it makes inside our house more moisturized, the state where we live has only 10 percent humidity. So that is my way of helping inside this house not to get too dry and saving some electric energy as well.

Well, anyway back to my clever toddler. He told me not to touch his letters and just leave it right there until it dries, lols! He will bring his letters to his school and he needs to get them dry so he can put them in his back pack. He always amuse me, he is too cute and does things and say words that makes us surprise hid Dad all the time because we don't really expect of him to be mature enough and responsible at his very young age.

His New Cut

Yesterday my son woke up with a bad hair. I just don't like to see his hair crumpled when it gets so long. I tried to trim it last few weeks ago but still it doesn't look good every time he gets up in the morning and it's all messed up behind his head. So since we have a razor blade for cutting hair, i decided to cut his hair real short just like when we were in the Philippines. I was going to keep his hair long because it is winter and that will help him to keep him warm but since it's just don't look good on him, i cut it and here's how he looks like now! Take note! Try to read his shirt and his face expressions, isn't he so cute? What his shirt says seems perfectly fit to his face expressions, lols!

Missing His Giggles

I was cleaning in our front room and saw my son's old pictures displayed by our China Cabinet. And then the memories started to flow in my mind how giggly he was when he was just a little cute boy. Now, he is more serious and doesn't want to be treated like baby. He kept telling us his daddy that he is no longer a baby, he is a big boy or a man, lols! I so miss my little boy when he was just little, those screams and giggles that tickles my ears and his laughter that is very contagious. Here's the best photos that i took over two years ago, which was caught in the act by Mommy how he giggles.

I Learned That....

I learned a lot of things just because of my previous post, a lot of mothers had reacted to it. I respect everyone's points of view and decisions and i am expecting the same way in return. I am a mother of a 3 year old boy and i must say that i am trying to be a good mother and trying to mold my son so he will become a good and fine person someday. I know that everybody has different ways of how they raise their child and they practice of what they think is the best for the child. I am one of the billions of mothers in the world who is aiming that my child will be a respectful human being, has good manners and behavior.

I know also that i have offended some of my readers here because of a certain word that they think is really a big no no to them. I understand them, that's how they brought up and that's what they are going to apply to their children. I have no questions about that and i don't doubt to their capability to raise their children because as what sayings say "Mothers knows best". I love my son and i don't abuse him, as what others said that there is a fine line between spanking and abusing. And i have been telling this over and over that i spank my son just enough for him to realize that i mean it and he should mind me as his mother.

I love to hear other mother's opinion because from that, i learn so many things. Just like what i told to Laane, that i am a very open minded person, but not perfect not to get offended. I am asking an apology to those who got offended here. I would like you all to know that i love my son so much and i am doing that i think what is best for my son for him to be a good man someday and of course i don't intent to harm him. And of course he is happy and just like other ordinary kids that wants to jump around and make some mess in the house. I only punish him when it is really needed to do so, but it is very rare to happen because he knows not to do such things that is not right.

Laane, my apology if you got offended to my way of disciplining my child but sometimes letting your child get hurt a little bit does work. I hope that you will be able to read this for you to understand my side and i don't want to offend my readers, my intention here is to update my son's progress as he grow up. So peace be with you and God bless!

In The Eyes Of Our Child

Last Saturday we had fun time together with my sweet family. We took our dear young man to a train ride because he has been bugging us that he wants to ride the train again. The first time we took our son to a train ride was almost 2 years ago. He was not old enough to appreciate it. We had to go to far city just to have that train ride. It was very freezing then but we still went just for our son to experience it. It was fun and indeed a memorable experience for us a family. But last Saturday was even more fun, especially for our dear little young man. He was really excited and screaming all the time. It wasn't just him who screamed there, lots of kids screamed too.

So anyway, while i was looking at my son how happy he was and excited that his wish finally came true, i took tons of picture of him to show him when he grow up that this is how he looks when he ride the train and was very happy. Of course as his parents, we are happy too! In fact his happiness that time was very contagious who saw him in the train. And i created a video of his photos as a sweet remembrance.

We Love To Bond

This is Jeceeka Marick (Jek-jek), my niece and my son's cousin of course. She is my big sister's youngest daughter. This picture was taken in their place when we visited them when we were still in Philippines. She is a fun, adorable and bubbly little girl. She can't talk straight yet but tell her to dance and you will surely be entertained. They get along with my son for they are just about the same age, they love to bond. She is the closest cousin of my son because she was only my son's playmate when we had our vacation there. Cute little girl and she sometimes can be mistakenly identified as Chinese little girl because of her fine skin and her chinita eyes.

He Made It!

I have been having difficulty putting my son to his potty every time he wants to poop. He knows how to pee in the toilet but pooping in the there is the hardest thing he can do. And there are times that i have to spank him because he'd rather hold it than going to the toilet and of course i don't like him doing that or he'll get sick. Keep trying to explain it to him that there is nothing wrong going to the toilet, it's just the same as he goes to the toilet when he feels like peeing. But earlier, i was really happy when he finally did it, he made it! And i am so proud of him. I keep on praising him that he is a smart and good boy, that he did a great job! He was a little scared still but i told him if he don't do it this time, i am not going to take him whenever i go somewhere. So he made it finally and this is just the start that i have been waiting for. From now on, i am sure he will be smart enough to realize that going to the toilet is the proper way to do.

Beach Birthday Party

It has been a while now since i updated this blog of my son. I just couldn't find any words in my mind to post something here. Not until i saw these photos of his again when were in Philippines. These photos was taken at the beach near to my mother's place. We celebrated his 3rd birthday and we had so much fun especially the birthday boy. I can't help but to smile every time i look at these photos of his, he looked like he is a poor beggar kid trying to eat the left over in the pan, which is chiffon cake that baked by his uncle by the way lols! But look at him in the last 2 photos, he looked so innocent and enjoying what nature offered him.

Enjoyable Fall

Yesterday we had so much fun cleaning our yard with my family. My son was a great helper with daddy while mommy was busy taking some pictures of their actions. It was indeed a family day for three of us. Daddy was tired from raking all the dried leaves in our yard. I helped a little bit but the weather was too cold for me to stay outside so i decided not to stay very long. After hubby did the errands, i prepared some soup for my dear family. Before i came inside the house, i made sure that i had enough snaps of what we did outside. Here are some of the fun pictures i took.

You're My Good Girl!

Just a while ago my son and i had a bowl of cold cereal as our breakfast today. He was so anxious to have it because he hasn't ate cereal for a long time now, it's always been rice because Mommy cooks him good food and not just light food like the cold cereal. So, he said that he loves cereal while he was eating it. This was our conversation earlier.

Mommy: Here's the cereal baby!
MD: Thank you mommy!
Mommy: You're welcome baby.
MD: Hmmmmm. It's yummy mommy, i love it! You eat your cereal too, okay?
Mommy: Of course i will. Silly boy.
MD: Okay, that's better. I will eat my cereal too and drink the milk.
Mommy: Okay, sounds good to me.
MD: Oh you ate them all already? You are my good girl! Good job mommy!
Mommy: Hahahha i am your good girl huh! You are my silly boy, i love you son, so much!
MD: I love you too mommy, and daddy too!

Isn't he cute having this conversation with his amused mommy? Well, our kids amused us in so many ways and this is just one conversation i had with my son that is so cute to remember forever. He doesn't talk like a baby no more, he talks like a grown up young man. Hey! Where did my little baby go? lols!

Smart Little Young Man

I already posted this video of my son reading the alphabet and the numbers long time ago to my other blog. This video was taken when he was just 2 years old. It may sounds bragging but my son is quite advance for his age, he can read letters and numbers at the age of 2 and already know the shapes, colors and sounds of animals. He always amaze me everyday, he learns things that i don't expect for a little boy like him like reading 3 letter words. For those who haven't seen this video yet, well it is for you to find out whether i am bragging or i am just telling you the facts about my son.

Now he can read words, and also can write a little bit, like single simple letters such as A, V, T, I, E, O and U. I am very happy knowing that my son is learning everyday and very early. Some people told me to send him to school since he knew all these things already, but i told them that i want him to enjoy his toddler stage first so he won't get tired going to school later on. He's learning with me and watching educational channel on the television, so that is good enough for him as of now. For us his parents, he is too young to go to school. We will probably send him to school next year but we'll see how he feels about it, i won't force him to get inside the classroom though.

Apple Of My Eyes

I was digging up my son's old photos and i stumbled into this cute photo of his. He wasn't even a year old on this photo yet. We are about to go to Salt Lake City when i took this picture of him at our backyard sitting on the grass. He is really cute on this picture so i thought of making a scrap of it. He's got so many photos stored in my SD card and i just couldn't get enough of taking photos of him until now. And i would say that i can't get over this obsession, taking photos of my son in every single moment with him.

Special Moment With Nanay

This picture was taken when we were in Philippines. Nanay and my son was inside in a boat heading to Bohol. He calls her nanay too, none of her grandchildren calls her lola. She was very happy when my son let her held him. He hardly go near to my mother and let her put him in her lap and bond with her for a little bit. But this time he did, so nanay asked me a favor if i can take a picture of them together. Of course i hurried and grabbed my camera and took this very special moment of my dearest mother and my dearest son.

Of all the digiscrap i made so far, this is the one i love most. Aside from the picture in this scrap, i also like how i created this, very nature and i would say that i am learning on how to do this little by little.

My Cute Photographer

Last night i was really busy finishing my Christmas giveaways prizes. I even forgot i didn't eat yet so i rushed into the kitchen and got something for me to fill in my hungry and murmuring stomach. I am like this, soon as i start doing on something, i want to get it finished right away. When i got finished eating, i went back to what i was doing so i can finish it soon as i can because i was really excited last night to get it done. Good thing it's done now and i am about to post it sometime this week. But while i was doing my work, there's one cute little guy keep taking picture of me! Here he is!

That's his dad's old camera. Hubby said that it got broken so he just let his son played with it since it is not working anymore. He's planning to buy me something like that (as what he told me) and of course the new digital one, but i am not expecting that it would be so soon though because i know that kind of camera cost a whole lot. Well, talking about my cute photographer, he did pretty good job in taking photos of his none other than pretty Mommy in every angle lols!

Feet Over My Lappy

This photo below was taken the other night while i was doing my stuff here in my lappy, my son fell asleep beside me in the couch. He was really worn out and couldn't even realize that his feet was on the top of my laptop already, it looked so cute to me so i took some snaps of it and here is one snap i got.

Halloween Costume

The halloween trick or treat was finally over last night. Hubby and i was kind of worried last night because our little young man fell asleep in the afternoon and we thought he wouldn't make it to go to trick or treating, but when i tried to wake him up, he woke up and whined a little bit but later on he got excited because i told him this, " Remember? You've been so excited for trick or treating, and tonight is the night that you have been waiting for!" So he stood up and said, "Where's my bucket now?" lols! So we just had our trick or treat around the block.

We didn't go that far though, we just went to friend's houses or people we knew from the neighborhood. But he had so much fun, the people thought my son was too cute with his costume so they just let him grab the treats from their basket as much as he can. He suppose to be a Mr. Suave guy, if you are a filipino, you should know the movie of Mr. Whong Navarro with the title of Mr. Suave. Then here's the little version of Mr. Vhong Navarro!

He's Very Good At It

When it comes to different sleeping position, i would say that my dear little young man is very good at it. He can sleep anywhere in the corner of our house, he doesn't care if he is not in his bed. Soon as he feels like he wants to sleep, all he needs is just his wonder magic red blanket that's always with him wherever he goes as his security blanket. Boy! I'd tell yah, he cannot sleep without it, i tried to hide that blanket from him but he keep looking for it and i can't sleep if he looks for it because he will bother me until i give it to him.

So anyway, back to sleeping positions, i got a lot of photos of my son with different sleeping positions. So for you to see, here some snaps i got since he was just a year old until the photo i got last night. The last photo should be the one's taken last night. Take a look!

My Silly Boy

Good day everyone! How's your Sunday so far? Mine is not really that exciting. I am just spending my time with my small and happy family. We just stayed home today and didn't do a whole lot of activities. Except my little young man that tried to amuse himself by doing silly things that makes Daddy and Mommy amused too.

Anyway, i just wanna share this photo i got of my dear young man playing his Thomas the train and friends. I guess he is tired of keep watching the trains running round and round in the train tracks so he found something that got him so excited to play the trains more. Well, for you to see what he did with his trains, here it is!
Our front room table is made of steel and he found out that his trains are magnetic and it can stick to the table frame. Poor trains they are all upside down, lols! Pretty smart boy at the age of three huh?

Moment With Daddy

This photo was taken when we went to El Nido Palawan. It was really one beautiful place, a paradise to be called. A place where it is perfect to relax and meditate. I took this photo early in the morning and it is just peaceful to see them enjoying what nature can offer. Lovely place to get away from heartaches and painful memories. Hubby took us here and i just couldn't get enough of this place, too beautiful to describe by words.

Bye Bye Daddy!

This picture above was taken when hubby is about to fly back here. We weren't able to get the same flight to come back here so hubby decided that he has to fly without us because he needs to come back here as soon as possible due to his work schedule. Since i am not working here, i am not in a hurry to come back and hubby said that it will be good to stay there for another month to spend it with my family. My son was crying on this photo because he doesn't want daddy to leave us. And he said "no byebye daddy, ok?" Don't leave me, i want to go!" Poor boy, was crying really hard when daddy went inside the airport to check in. I told him that we will follow daddy in about a month. And here we are now, in our happy home being a lovely family once again.
